Swedish carpentry student Nathalie Dackelid designed Wooden Cloth, a flexible table that can do wonders in tight spaces. Seemingly inspired from a caterpillar’s track, this project can be enlarged little by little, unlike other tables with fixed extensions. The unconventional table is made of locally grown ash, with a transparent Osmo oli finish: “The end grain of the ash wood makes a beautiful pattern in the triangular shape, which also reminds me of my grandmother’s crocheted tablecloths,” Natalie stated.
